Luxury meeting rooms for 2 to 16 delegates

Being a small 16 bedroom luxury hotel we are particularly suitable for senior level meetings for 2 to 16 delegates in our two private dining rooms, with antique oak tables and leather chairs, which can be converted into conference rooms with all modern facilities if needed.

Business lunches, dinners and client entertainment

Set in peaceful surroundings in the English countryside, our 3 AA rosettes restaurant and private dining rooms provide a special venue for business lunches, dinners and client entertainment.

To unwind after a busy day or to spend quality time with your colleagues or clients we can recommend:

Free golf on the beautiful and challenging nine hole Bakewell Golf Club overlooking the Wye Valley and a mere ten minute drive from the hotel.

Some of the best fly fishing in the country on seven miles of the Derbyshire Wye from April to October.

Free access to a well equipped fitness centre close by; wellbeing treatments by arrangement; and a superb location for running or walking in the surrounding Peak District countryside.

Reviewing The Peacock at Rowsley

It was an oasis of civilised, grown-up comfort, with roaring log fires, armchairs upholstered in acid colours and unstained seagrass carpeting. Our room had mullioned windows, a huge four-poster bed and persian rugs on the floor.
